Getting stuffed from a huge meal is much less appealing to me than the prospect of eating many snacks throughout the day. So when the husband orders a big entree for dinner, sometimes the first real meal of his busy day, I prefer to order a couple of appetizers to share. This week, we had a super snack winner at Dogwood.Baby back ribs are glazed with an ultra sticky tea-mustard concoction. I didn't pick up so much of the tea, but the mustardy tang was very nice. The cabbage and radicchio slaw was dressed indulgently with big chunks of blue cheese, that after some mixing, also created a nice creamy binder. The size of this rich appetizer was perfect. Eating the whole thing felt like an indulgence rather than gluttony.
